Fender Game of Thrones Sigil Collection

Coming hot off the Season 8 Premier of Game of Thrones, the Fender Custom Shop announced the Game of Thrones Sigil Collection by Principal Master Builder Ron Thorn. The Sigil Collection consists of three guitars that represent the three major houses in the Game of Thrones saga: House Stark Telecaster, House Lannister Jaguar, and House Targaryen Stratocaster.

House Lannister Jaguar

As opulent as its namesake—the ambitious house with designs on the Iron Throne—the Sigil Collection Game of Thrones House Lannister Jaguar is an homage to that avaricious clan. This bespoke guitar was painstakingly crafted by Principal Master Builder, Ron Thorn, who called on his extensive experience with materials to work 24k gold leaf into the elegant, sweeping form of the Jaguar.

Covered with 24K gold leaf over a carved heraldic design on the front, back and headstock, the lightweight alder body is finished in “Lannister Gold” and “Burnt Crimson,” protected by a thin lacquer finish. Twin Hand-Wound Fat ‘50s single-coil Stratocaster® pickups breathe rich, refined tone that’s perfect for conquering the stage. For fast, smooth playing feel and elegant aesthetic, the “Medium C”-shaped maple neck hosts a 9.5”-radius ebony fingerboard with golden 6150 fretwire for modern playing feel and worry-free bending. The hand-cut and engraved brass dot position markers include an elegant lion sigil at the first fret; the 12th fret features two throne “O” inlays carved from coral. The gold-plated control plate features hand-engraved knobs, and the elegant gold-plated pickguard displays the lion sigil in all its proud, imperial glory.

Other features include traditional Jaguar controls, vintage-style Jaguar wiring, vintage-style Jaguar tremolo tailpiece and bridge and vintage-style tuning machines. The Sigil Collection Game of Thrones House Lannister Jaguar includes a custom gold Tolex and crushed velvet-lined hardshell case with matching strap and Certificate of Authenticity.

PRICE: $30,000.00

House Stark Telecaster

Weathered and rugged, like the members of the house that rule in the north, the Sigil Collection Game of Thrones House Stark Telecaster is an homage to this brooding clan. This bespoke guitar was painstakingly crafted by Principal Master Builder, Ron Thorn, who called on his extensive experience while adorning it with symbols and materials that pay tribute to House Stark.

Surrounded by inlaid sterling silver purfling, the lightweight ash body wears “Grey Wolf” on the top and back, while the sides are “Raven Black”—with a thin lacquer finish over it all. The hand-wound ‘50/’51 Blackguard single-coil pickups howl with biting tone that slashes through the mix like an executioner’s sword. For fast, smooth playing feel and elegant aesthetics, the “Medium C”-shaped maple neck hosts a 9.5”-radius ebony fingerboard with 6150 fretwire for modern playing feel and worry-free bending. The hand-cut and engraved sterling silver dot position markers include an elegant Direwolf sigil at the first fret; the 12th fret features two throne “O” inlays carved from coral. The nickel silver control plate features hand-engraved knobs that bear the Stark sigil, and the embossed nickel silver pickguard displays the sigil in all its fierce, ravenous glory.

Other features include three-way switching, custom modern wiring, a raw steel bridge and saddles, vintage-style tuning machines and a bone nut. The Sigil Collection Game of Thrones House Stark Telecaster includes a custom leather and faux wolf fur-lined hardshell case with matching strap and Certificate of Authenticity.

PRICE: $25,000.00

House Targaryen Stratocaster

A smoky, refined twist on a classic, the Sigil Collection Game of Thrones House Targaryen Stratocaster pays tribute to the dynasty who left their mark on the history of the Seven Kingdoms. This bespoke guitar was painstakingly crafted by Principal Master Builder, Ron Thorn, who created the unique “dragon scaled” body in homage to House Targaryen.

Covered with flawlessly carved dragon scales on the front and back, the lightweight alder body features a unique satin “Dragonglass Black” paint, protected with a thin lacquer finish. Three Hand-Wound Texas Special™ single-coil Stratocaster pickups breathe fiery, high-output tone that’s perfect for burning up the stage. For fast, smooth playing feel and elegant aesthetics, the “Medium C”-shaped maple neck hosts a 9.5”-radius ebony fingerboard with 6150 fretwire for modern playing feel and worry-free bending. The hand-cut and engraved sterling silver dot position markers include an elegant dragon sigil at the first fret; the 12th fret features two throne “O” inlays carved from coral. A work of art on its own, the exquisite hand-tooled and stained leather pickguard boldly bears House Targaryen’s three-headed dragon sigil in all its fiery ferocity.

Other features include black hardware, five-way switching, custom modern wiring, vintage-style six-screw synchronized tremolo with bent-steel saddles, vintage-style tuning machines and bone nut. The Sigil Collection Game of Thrones House Targaryen Stratocaster, includes a custom reptilian embossed leather hardshell case with matching strap and Certificate of Authenticity.

You might need to get a loan from the Iron Bank to afford one of these guitars, as each guitar is truly a masterpiece and Built-to-Order. - While we would have preferred to have Valyrian Steel frets or a Dragonglass pickguard, we'll take what we can get from Westeros. Winter is here, are you ready?
