Boss RE2 Pedal Space Echo

Experience the legendary Roland RE-201 Space Echo in a compact BOSS pedal that captures every nuance of vintage tape delay. This is genuine vintage tone—not a simulation—with the authentic three-head tape echo configuration that defined an era of guitar and bass sound.

The RE2 delivers the classic multi-head tape echo character musicians have chased for decades, now with expanded delay times for modern creative possibilities. You get all 11 original sound combinations plus the iconic RE-201 spring reverb, reimagined with true stereo capability for deeper, wider spatial effects.

Control the organic character of vintage tape with the Wow & Flutter control, introducing natural modulation that breathes life into every note. The Twist effect adds movement and dimension with dedicated footswitch control. Choose between pristine analog dry signal or the warm, colored character of the original Space Echo preamp—both at your command.

Tap tempo keeps you locked in time, while carryover function lets delays fade naturally between settings. True stereo I/O and support for external footswitches and expression pedals give you unlimited creative control. Back it all with BOSS's five-year warranty, knowing you've invested in professional-grade reliability.
