Known for his remarkable funk skills and creative lead performances, guitarist, producer, and arranger Cory Wong has garnered a dedicated following owing to his expressive playing with Vulfpeck and his Grammy-nominated individual endeavors, culminating in sold-out arena shows. The Cory Wong Stratocaster® stands as a homage to Cory's preferred Fender®, carefully adapted to satisfy the requirements of the funk maestro.

The satin lacquer finish mirrors the appearance and sensation of Cory's treasured original Strat, while its moderately reduced alder body - just a tad smaller than the conventional Stratocaster - paired with the American Ultra™ Modern "D" neck and refined body curves, offers an exceptionally comfortable playing experience. Equipped with Seymour Duncan Cory Wong Clean Machine pickups, it captures the classic Strat resonance and clarity, optimized to resonate with his signature tone.

Additional attributes encompass a maple neck with a slightly refined headstock shape, a rosewood fingerboard boasting rolled edges and a compound 10-14" radius, along with a vintage-inspired 6-screw synchronized Tremolo. Deluxe locking tuners enhance tuning stability and simplify string replacements. There's also a push/push pot on Tone 2 that, when activated, bypasses the 5-way switch, defaulting to "Position 4". The package is rounded off with a Cory Wong hair tie (used for muting the tremolo springs to mimic Cory's rhythm tone), a set of rubber straplock washers, and a unique neck plate.
